One of my favorite primers is by Hourglass. I have been using this product for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I have zero complaints although it is pricy. I want to waterproof my makeup and this will do the trick. It has spf and is free of parabens and phosphates. Give it a try! I promise you’ll love it!
One of my favorite eye makeup removers is Bi-Facil by Lancome but I hate paying $30.00 for it when I found an awesome recipe on how to make my own. It works just as well!!!
1 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons Tear Free Baby Shampoo
1/8 teaspoon Baby Oil
Add all ingredients into a container and shake well. Shake before every use.
Cost: Less than $0.50 cents!!!
Have you ever dropped your compact powder and opened it up to see it all broken inside? The picture shows four quick and easy steps to make that broken powder or even eye shadow good as new!
First you put clear plastic wrap and break up all the larger chunks, then you take rubbing alcohol and place a few drops into the broken powder. Now you smooth the sort of creamy powder over so it is smooth. Let it set to dry and it will be ready to use in just a few hours!
Love wearing waterproof mascara but hate trying to wash it off? One easy way to continue to wear waterproof mascara and take it off ten times easier is to before applying the waterproof mascara, put a thin coat of regular mascara as a base. This way the waterproof formula isn’t directly applied to your lashes, but on top of the regular formula. You will still get the benefits of wearing waterproof mascara along with quick and easy removal!
Want your makeup to last you all day with out feeling like you constantly have to touch it up? Try Skindinavia makeup setting sprays! They come in original, no more shine for those with oily skin, and bridal which is for pictures! They really make your makeup last all day or night!
If you have thin, short lashes and want them to appear thicker and fuller I have just the trick for you! All you need is your mascara, some baby powder and some Q-Tips. Between applying each coat of your mascara, dip the end of a Q-tip in a little baby powder and run across lashes, focusing on the tips only. The second coat of your mascara will attach to the powder for a longer, fuller look, as if you had false lashes!
